# Voting

> Vote for Vetox every 12 hours to earn Vito and unlock an exclusive profile background.

Voting for Vetox on Top.gg rewards you, and helps other communities find the bot.

## What you get

  You can vote **once every 12 hours** — twice a day.

## Where to find it

There is no voting page in the dashboard. The vote link appears on the [Profile Customization](/en/members/profile-customization) page, next to the background it unlocks.

<Warning>
  **The reward is only confirmed by a Discord DM.** The dashboard does not show how much you earned, when you last voted, or when you can vote again.

  If your DMs are closed you will still receive the Vito, but you will get no confirmation of it.

<Tip>
  Check your Vito balance before and after if you want to verify a vote registered — that is currently the only way to confirm it from the dashboard.

## The exclusive background

One profile background is vote-only. Its card shows **Vote on Top.gg** instead of a price, and it becomes yours permanently once a vote is counted.

## Troubleshooting

    Rewards can take a moment to arrive. Check your balance rather than waiting for the DM, which will not arrive if your DMs are closed.

    The cooldown is 12 hours from your last vote.

    Reload the Profile Customization page. If it is still locked after a successful vote, contact support.

  <Accordion title="Where do I see my voting history?">
    There is none in the dashboard. Top.gg shows your own voting record.
