# Membership

> A personal subscription that follows your account — Vito and XP multipliers, profile customisation and Vito API access.

Membership upgrades **your account**, everywhere you go. It is separate from [Server Premium](/en/premium/overview), which upgrades one server.

## Tiers

  **The membership page currently displays yearly prices that are lower than what is charged.** The amounts in the table above are the real ones taken by the payment provider.

  The discrepancy is largest on Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Check the total on the payment provider's own checkout screen before confirming.

## What the multipliers do

Both multipliers apply to your **personal** totals.

| **Vito**   | Your [daily reward](/en/members/daily-reward) and voting rewards                                 |
| **XP**     | Your **global** XP, which feeds the [Keyboard Brokers](/en/account/keyboard-brokers) leaderboard |

<Warning>
  **XP multipliers do not apply to server leaderboards.** Your rank inside a server always reflects genuine activity there. Nobody can buy their way up your community's rankings — this is deliberate.

  The profile-view **count** and the monthly digest are free for everyone. Only seeing *who* viewed you needs Gold.

<Note>
  Two Gold features — top channels and the extended servers list — simply show nothing on a free account rather than prompting you to upgrade. If a card on your profile is empty, that may be why.
</Note>

## Membership does not affect cosmetics

<Warning>
  Membership does **not** unlock backgrounds, name colours, fonts or badges. Every cosmetic is bought with [Vito](/en/members/vito) and available to everyone.

  What Membership changes is how **fast** you earn Vito — a Diamond member earns three times as much per daily claim, so they reach the same cosmetics sooner. Nothing is exclusive to a tier.

## Managing it

Upgrade, transfer or cancel from the membership page. Cancelling keeps your benefits until the end of the billing period.
