Payments are processed by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record. Cards, invoices and tax are handled on their side.

What you are charged

The amount taken is always the one shown on Paddle’s own checkout screen.
The dashboard, the pricing page and Paddle’s checkout all show the same figure, including when you tick Custom Bot on a Max or Black plan. The Server Premium and Membership tables here carry the same real amounts.Yearly totals are set per tier — they are never a flat percentage off twelve monthly payments, so do not compute one from the other.

Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically on the same cycle you bought. You are charged the amount for that cycle.

If a payment fails

1

Grace period begins

You get 3 days. Everything keeps working — nothing is disabled, no limit is applied, and a Custom Bot stays online.
2

Retry

Update your payment method in Paddle’s portal. A successful payment ends the grace period and nothing further happens.
3

Expiry

If it is still unpaid after 3 days, the subscription is removed, limits return to Starter, and a Custom Bot is stopped.
The grace period applies to failed payments only. Cancelling yourself, a refund, or a chargeback ends the subscription without a grace period.Staff-granted and promotional subscriptions also have no grace period.

Cancelling

You keep everything until the end of the period you have already paid for. Nothing is removed early, and there is no partial refund for the remainder. When it ends, your server drops to Starter and the downgrade rules apply.
Eight things are permanently lost on downgrade rather than disabled — notably starboard emoji above the new limit and custom streak emoji. Application questions are not among them: they are switched off and restored on upgrade. Record the eight before cancelling.

Moving a subscription

A subscription belongs to your account, not to a server. You can transfer it to a different server without rebuying.
Transferring removes premium from the old server immediately. Its over-limit data follows the downgrade rules.

Sharing with another server

An invite code applies your subscription to someone else’s server. Single-use, expires after 7 days, and billing stays with you.
Only available on Paddle-billed subscriptions — not on staff grants, partner subscriptions or promotional ones.

Promotional codes

Percentage discounts, fixed-amount discounts, free months, and trial grants. A code can be limited by tier, by billing cycle, by total uses and by uses per person.
A trial granted by a code has no grace period when it ends.

Invoices and payment methods

Both live in Paddle’s customer portal, reachable from the receipt emailed to you at purchase.

Troubleshooting

It normally applies within a second. If it has not applied after about 15 minutes, contact support — do not buy again.
Two display defects used to understate the price — yearly Membership, and Custom Bot in the checkout dialog. Both are fixed; every surface now shows the amount Paddle charges. If a charge still does not match what you were shown, contact support with the Paddle receipt.
Check for a failed payment email. A failed payment gives 3 days; a chargeback or refund removes it immediately.
Eight categories are permanently deleted rather than disabled. See Feature limits.
Refunds are handled by Paddle under the refund policy. A refund ends the subscription immediately with no grace period.
