Colour roles are ordinary Discord roles whose only job is to tint a member’s name. Vetox manages the palette and the panel members pick from.

Building a palette

Add colours one at a time, or apply one of 49 templates — curated palettes covering pastels, single-hue ramps, muted earth tones and bright multi-colour sets. The largest is 14 colours.
Template names are shown in English in every language.
A palette holds at most 25 colours, and the panel shows at most 25 colour roles. Adding a 26th is rejected with a plain validation error rather than a message explaining the limit.
Applying a template replaces your current palette. The old colour roles are removed from the server and members lose the colour they had chosen.
Applying a template creates a role per colour and can take up to half a minute on a large palette. Leave the page open until it finishes.
Colour roles created from a template are named after their hex code (#FF4F4F). They are created without any permissions of their own, so they carry exactly what @everyone already has and grant no extra access.
Discord shows a member in the colour of their highest coloured role. If members pick a colour and see no change, another role above the colour roles already has a colour set. Drag the colour roles above it, or clear that role’s colour.

The panel

Send panel posts the picker to a channel. Members click to take a colour; picking a new one swaps out the old.
Sending a panel is an immediate action — it does not go through the save bar and cannot be undone by discarding.
If you delete the panel message, members can no longer pick. Send a new one — the colours themselves are unaffected.

Colour on join

Assign a colour automatically to every new member — random from the palette, or a specific one.
Colour on join, the panel, and templates all require Basic. The palette itself is free.
The colour-on-join setting only enforces the premium requirement when you actually switch it on. Editing its options while it is off appears to save, but the feature will not run until your tier allows it.

Troubleshooting

A higher role already has a colour. Move the colour roles above it in Server Settings → Roles.
Check every colour role sits below the Vetox role. See Permissions.
Expected — a template replaces the palette. There is no undo; re-apply the palette you want and members will need to pick again.
It requires Basic or above, and the switch must be on. Check the palette is not empty.
