Timezone — read this first

A reminder’s schedule is captured from the timezone of the browser you create it in. There is no timezone control on this page.The timezone is captured again whenever the schedule is saved: the type, the time, the interval, the days or the active hours. If you change a reminder’s schedule while travelling, or a co-admin in another country does, the schedule silently shifts to that browser’s timezone. The time you typed stays the same; the moment it fires changes.
Renaming a reminder, editing its message, changing its channel or switching it on or off does not touch the timezone or restart the schedule.
Decide who owns the reminders on your server and have that one person make all schedule changes, from one machine. If a reminder starts firing at the wrong hour, open it and re-save the time from the correct machine.

One-off and repeating

Once

Fires one time, at the next occurrence of the time you pick on one of the days you select, then stops.

Repeating

Fires on an interval, from 1 minute to 24 hours.
A repeating reminder posts for the first time within a minute of being saved, as long as that moment is on an allowed day and inside its active hours. After that it keeps to its interval.
The longest interval is 24 hours. There is no weekly or monthly repeat — an interval is stored in minutes and capped at 1,440. For something that should fire once a week, use a daily reminder restricted to a single day of the week.
A one-off reminder that has fired is disabled, not deleted. It stays in the list marked as completed, so you can see what ran. Switch it back on to run it again at the next occurrence of its time, or delete it when you no longer need the record.

Days and active hours

Day of the week limits a reminder to the days you select. Leave it empty for every day. A repeating reminder can also be limited to part of the day with Start Time and End Time: Outside its active hours a reminder waits, then posts when they open again. Days and hours are read in the reminder’s timezone.
The start and end times must be different. An overnight window is checked against the calendar day: with only Monday selected, 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM covers Monday before 6:00 AM and Monday from 10:00 PM.

The message

Plain text or a full embed, posted to a channel you choose. These variables work in the text and in every embed field: Send test message posts the reminder as it is saved, so save your edits first. It tells you when Vetox could not post — a missing permission or a deleted channel — instead of reporting success.
There is no role-ping field on a reminder. To ping a role, write the mention into the message text itself.

Enabling and disabling

Switching a reminder off stops it firing but keeps it configured.
The counter next to your limit includes disabled reminders, while the server only enforces the cap on enabled ones. The number shown can therefore be higher than what actually counts against you. A completed one-off or a reminder you switched off does not stop you creating a new one.
When a plan ends or is downgraded, the reminders over the new limit are switched off automatically. They are marked Tier limit in the list, so you can tell them from reminders you switched off yourself, and they come back on by themselves when you upgrade.

Module toggle

Reminders only run while the module is enabled in Server Setup. Turning the module off pauses every reminder on the server at once — they resume, on schedule, when it is turned back on.

Troubleshooting

Almost always the timezone capture described above. Open the reminder, re-enter the time from the machine you consider authoritative, and save.
Check the reminder is enabled, the Reminders module is on in Server Setup, and Vetox can send messages in the target channel. Use Send test message — it reports when Vetox cannot post there. Then check the selected days and the active hours: outside them the reminder waits.
That is by design — it is kept as a record with a completed marker. Delete it if you want it gone.
Your plan no longer covers that many reminders, so it was switched off automatically. Upgrade to bring it back, or switch off or delete another reminder and turn this one on again.
There isn’t one — the interval is capped at 24 hours. Use a daily reminder and restrict it to the day of the week you want.
