Reward Roles

Roles granted at a level.

Three sources of XP

Each has a minimum and maximum XP plus its own cooldown, and the actual amount is drawn at random inside that range.
The voice range is per minute, not per award. Text and reaction XP take the drawn number as the award; voice multiplies it by the minutes credited. At the default 2–5 with a 4-minute cooldown, a voice award is 8–20 XP, not 2–5.
The fields are bounded: minimums 1–100, maximums 1–500, the text and reaction cooldowns 0–3600 seconds, and the voice cooldown 1–60 minutes — note that one is in minutes while the other two are in seconds. A maximum below its minimum is rejected outright.
Adjusting XP rates requires Basic. On Starter the fields are visible but dimmed.
On Starter, nothing on this card takes effect. Everything saves and shows a success message, but the bot is handed a fixed configuration instead of yours — so the Text, Voice and Reaction switches, the XP ranges, the cooldowns, and the reset schedule all keep their standard values regardless of what the page shows. That also covers the anti-farming controls recommended elsewhere on this page: Ignore Alone Members, Block Muted Users and Block Deafened Users are forced off on Starter, so those suggestions cannot be applied until you upgrade to Basic.

The level curve

101 levels. Level 1 costs 70 XP; level 100 costs 950,000. Progression is deliberately steep at the top so a long-standing member’s rank means something.

Exclusions

Roles, text channels and voice channels that earn no XP.
Exclude your bot-command channel, spam channel, and any AFK voice channel. Otherwise members farm levels by sitting in AFK.

Multipliers

Requires Basic.
Give a role or a channel a multiplier between 0.25× and 5×.
A role or channel cannot be both excluded and multiplied. Putting the same one in both lists causes the save to fail with an error the page shows verbatim from the server. Remove it from one list.
Role, channel and XP-event multipliers do not stack with each other. When several apply, the highest single one wins.Text XP has two further multipliers that do stack on top of that result: ×2 while the server has Server Premium, and ×1.5 for a member who is boosting the server. A boosting member in a premium server on a 2× role therefore earns 6× the base.Voice and reaction XP deliberately exclude both — they use the highest-single-multiplier result and nothing else.A member’s own Membership multiplier is separate again: it applies only to their global profile XP and is explicitly barred from server XP, so it never affects your server’s leaderboard.

Voice XP details

A voice session pauses while a member is muted or deafened, if you enable those restrictions, and can also ignore anyone alone in a channel.
There is no session cap. A member who stays in voice all day keeps earning on every cooldown window. If you are worried about idling, use Ignore Alone Members and the muted/deafened restrictions rather than relying on a time limit.
Turn on Ignore Alone Members. Without it, a member can idle alone in a channel overnight and out-level the whole server.

Reward roles

Grant a role at a text level, a voice level, or both. When both are set, the AND / OR toggle decides whether the member needs to reach both or either. Per reward you can also:
  • Remove Higher — take away lower reward roles when a higher one is earned
  • DM Message — tell the member privately
  • Show in Top — display the role on the leaderboard
A reward row with no role selected is silently dropped when you save. If a row vanishes after saving, that is why — pick a role before saving.
Every reward role must sit below the Vetox role. See Permissions.

Level-up messages

Four independent messages, each with its own switch, channel and format: channel level-ups, voice level-ups, reaction level-ups, and a DM. Each can be plain text or an embed.

XP resets

Two kinds: On leave / on ban — clear a member’s XP when they leave or are banned. Scheduled — set when the daily, weekly and monthly leaderboards roll over.
This does not wipe anyone’s XP. Levels are computed from the all-time total, which a schedule never touches — only the three periodic leaderboards reset. To actually clear XP, use one of the manual reset options above.
Scheduled resets require Max.
Reset times use the timezone set on your Server Setup page, not UTC and not your browser. Monthly resets on a day that does not exist in a short month fall back to the last day.

Public leaderboard

Switch on to publish a read-only leaderboard at a public URL, shown on the page with a copy button.

Troubleshooting

Check the Leveling module is on in Server Setup, the channel is not excluded, and the member has no excluded role.
On Starter, nothing on the XP rates card takes effect — the bot uses a fixed configuration. Upgrade to Basic, or exclude the channels instead.
The role must be below Vetox in the role list, and Vetox needs Manage Roles. Also confirm the row actually has a role selected — blank rows are dropped on save.
The same role or channel is in both the exclusion list and the multiplier list. Remove it from one.
Check for an AFK voice channel that is not excluded, and turn on Ignore Alone Members.

XP Events

Time-limited XP boosts.

Battle Pass

Seasonal quests and tiered rewards.
