A message collects enough ⭐ reactions and Vetox reposts it to a highlights channel.
Starboard must be enabled in Server Setup. With the module off, this page shows only a banner — the starboard list is hidden entirely.

Limits

Max and Black are described as unlimited elsewhere, but a hard ceiling of 50 applies to both rows — a save carrying more than 50 starboards is rejected outright, and an emoji list is trimmed to the first 50.The list fields have their own caps: 50 allowed channels, 50 ignored channels, 25 ignored roles and 25 roles allowed to give stars.

Creating one

Create Starboard creates it immediately — there is no dialog to fill in first. A default starboard appears and you are taken straight to its settings.
Defaults: named “Starboard”, ⭐, a threshold of 3, an embed layout, a jump button, and removal when the count falls back below the threshold.

General

  • Name and channel — the destination. Messages posted in the starboard channel are never themselves starboarded
  • Reactions needed — 1 to 100
  • Emoji — which reactions count
  • Display emoji — what is shown on the reposted message
  • Ping role — pinged on each new entry
  • Allowed channels, ignored channels, ignored roles, and roles allowed to give stars

Behaviour

Turn off “count the author’s own reaction.” Otherwise the threshold is effectively one lower for anyone willing to star their own post.
Two starboards sharing an exclusive group will never both claim the same message — the first to reach its threshold wins.

Appearance

An embed or a plain message. The template supports {author}, {stars}, {channel}, {link}, {content} and {emoji}.
On Starter, custom embed edits are accepted, saved, and then silently replaced with the default template. The change appears to vanish. Custom embeds require Basic.

Star rewards

Give a role at a star total — up to 10 mappings, from 1 to 1000 stars.
Star totals only ever go up. Losing reactions later never takes a reward role away.

Leaderboard

The most-starred messages, with per-entry controls:
  • Force — add any message by pasting its link, even below the threshold
  • Freeze — stop the star count updating
  • Remove — take it off the starboard and block it from returning
Removing an entry is effectively permanent from the dashboard. Once removed, the entry disappears from this list and there is no way to restore it here.

After a downgrade

Starboards over your tier’s limit are disabled, not deleted — shown dimmed with a “Tier limit” marker and an explanation. Emoji lists are trimmed.
A custom embed keeps rendering after a downgrade until you next save this page. The downgrade sweep does not touch the stored template; the default is re-applied on your next save, at which point the customisation is lost.
Deleting a starboard also deletes its entry history. Messages already posted to the channel stay there, but the starboard’s record of them is gone.

Troubleshooting

Check the module is on in Server Setup, the starboard is enabled and has a channel, the emoji matches what members are actually using, and the source channel is not ignored.
Counts refresh on an interval you set — up to a minute. It will catch up.
It requires at least one allowed channel. Add one.
Custom embeds require Basic. On Starter the default is re-applied on every save.
It was removed via the leaderboard, which blocks it permanently. Post the content again as a new message.

Counting

Another shared-channel activity.
