Embed messages are reusable message templates. Build one here, send it to a channel, and edit it later without deleting and reposting. Several other features consume them: Self-Roles panels attach to a sent embed, and Auto-Interaction posts them.

Limits

The two limits above count message blocks, not embed parts. A message is a list of blocks, each an embed or a standalone image; the limits cap how many blocks the message may have and how many of them may be images. Buttons, select menus and an embed’s own image/thumbnail are not counted by either row and are ungated at every tier — the only ceilings there are Discord’s own 25 components across 5 rows.

Building one

The editor covers everything Discord supports: title, description, colour, author, footer, timestamp, thumbnail, image, and fields.
Images can be uploaded or given as a URL. A URL may point at any host; an upload must be JPEG, PNG, GIF or WebP and at most 3 MB — AVIF, BMP, TIFF, HEIC and SVG are all refused.

Sending and editing

Send and Edit use the last saved version, not what is on screen. If you change the text and click Send without saving first, the old version is posted.Always save, then send.
Edit rewrites a message you already sent, in place. It needs the message to still exist — if it was deleted, send a fresh one.

Components v2

Requires Basic.
A richer layout format with sections, separators, galleries and inline buttons, beyond what a standard embed allows.
Media Gallery and Thumbnail accept an uploaded image or a URL, the same as a standard embed. The File block is the exception — it must reference attachment://, so it cannot take an upload. Use Media Gallery for an image.

Dates in the list

The Created column is approximate — it is derived from the embed’s identifier rather than stored separately — and it always shows a 12-hour AM/PM clock, even in languages that normally use a 24-hour one.

Troubleshooting

Save the embed first, then click Edit. Send and Edit read the saved copy.
The Discord message was deleted. Send the embed again — this creates a new message that Edit can then target.
Count the embeds in the list against your tier’s allowance — nothing is created until you press Create inside the editor, so backing out of a new embed leaves nothing behind.
Validation messages from the server are shown in English. The usual causes are a description over 4,096 characters, a title over 256, or an SVG image URL — SVG is never accepted. Vetox does not check whether an image URL loads, so a broken link saves without complaint and simply shows nothing in Discord.
Self-Roles attaches to embeds that have been sent. Send it to a channel first.

Self-Roles

Attach a role panel to a sent embed.

Auto-Interaction

Post an embed automatically in a channel.
